It is 3:00 am and my brain is working overtime, the weight of the wondering, over what? What could be keeping me from enjoying a night of uninterrupted sleep? In a moment’s notice, life changed, out of nowhere, life took a turn for the better.
The thoughts that weigh on our minds in the middle of the day, or the night, are not always heavy thoughts. Generally, when someone lies awake at night the first thought is, “they are struggling with something”. Why does it have to appear as a struggle? It is a rarity for the world to mention the lighthearted wonders that keep us awake.
~A missed moment of hope for someone in need is a blessing not shared~
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us also lay aside every weight, and sin, which clings so closely,
and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
The Bible tells us to lay aside every weight, what wondering weight are you carrying that you need to lay aside and not be concerned about? The heavy weight that keeps you awake truly hinders you from embracing the joy that is right before your eyes. Surrender to Him and allow the blessings to flow.
For those who read this, I pray you find hope and encouragement knowing that the wondering weight we carry is not always a weight of heaviness.
Our perspective and response changes our own lives.
I have a wonderful life. I do not have everything, but I have what God blessed me with; a heart of compassion, love for others and a few selected by God who loves and supports me. For that, I am deeply grateful. Take each moment with those that you encounter and embrace that moment with them. Be intentional in the moment.
Change your wondering weight thought process from, “I don’t wonder why, how or if”, instead, I run this race with absolute passion, endurance, focus and grace to achieve the goals set before me.
Smiles, Love, and Hugs ❤
A goal is a dream fulfilled by less wondering of what could go wrong and more determination, perseverance and believing in the outcome, live it out.
